I am not a feminist!!!! I am a daughter, I am a sister, I am a wife, I am a mother, I am a woman with career. I don't want to be treated like a son, I don't want to be a father to my child. I don't want reservations. I don't want equality with men. I can't do so many things as good as men. I don't want to do everything that a man does.

I don't want to change bulbs or repair my car. That's the work of an electrician or a mechanic. But if I want to change bulbs, no one can tell me that I can't or I shouldn't. If I want to repair my car, let me do it with pride. If I want to fly a plane I will fly like a bird.

I want to be treated like a woman. I wanted to be treated like a human. I want to be treated like how you want to be treated yourself. I want to be loved like anybody else. I want you to let me choose. I want the freedom of choice. I want freedom. Is this why you call me a feminist?

Rendezvous with Su

Foundation! Foundation is important, my mother used to tell every parent. The way the child is taught as a kid makes or breaks the kid's higher education. I too believe in this philosophy and have become a hands on mom as Su started class 1. After one and half months (and only 1.5 months), I am not sure if I teach Su or if she teaches me. After try to get her to understand the numbers that are greater or smaller, this was my final attempt
Me: If there are 5 chocolates in a bowl and there are 3 Chocolates in another one, which bowl would you choose? 
Su: None
Me: why? (Agitated)
Su: Doctor has asked me not to eat chocolates. 

True.. She has been advised by the doc to eat as less chocolates as possible for her constipation problem.

Me: If you now don't tell me the right answer, I will beat you. Do you want 9 hits or 5 hits? Which is lesser? 
Su: Zero 
Me: What!!!!!!!
Su: I don't want you to beat me at all!!!

Su read most of them but one was pending. I told her to read that as well. She tried her best. she couldn't get it.

I then, knew that she was reading based on the pictures.. like ಅಂಗಿ, ಎಲೆ, ಊಟ, etc.

Need a good party game for elders and the young adult? Don’t have the time to prepare. Here is a game that has been a hit in all parties where I know it was played. Funny English names of Indian Places. Hand out a list of Place names translated in English. All participants have to identify the actual place name from the translated meaning. Let me explain with an example, Win Town is the translation. If the participant identifies this as Jayanagar, then he gets a point. It’s an easy game once you know the place names. But until then, it’s a brain tickler.
